Stikwood!

Apologies for not posting for a while, summer is upon us already and I feel that 2016 is flying by at an alarming rate.

Anyway down to the fun stuff, I was Pinteresting the other day, as I do quite often for ideas and inspiration, and came across this very cool product called Stikwood.  Stikwood is the worlds first peel and stick reclaimed sustainable wood planking. Such genius, I am wondering why I haven’t seen this before.

Reclaimed wood is still a hot look for rustic/contemporary interiors and very much in demand. This product in my opinion brings the look of wood planking within reach as a fast and cost effective interior design solution. While there are plenty of awesome DIY reclaimed wood projects around, for most of us, who may be creatively challenged and have little time to spare, then this really is the way to go.

Not only does it look fantastic as an accent wall or kitchen backsplash but can also be used for a headboard or to jazz up tired old furniture.  Ikea pieces are perfect for this kind of hacking because they are usually flat and square and have minimal detailing. I am itching to get my hands on some, just need to decide where to put it. Here is the link for more information or to order samples. http://www.stikplank.com Happy Planking!!!!
